Xpeng issues.

Hello,

I have several problems in the xpeng g6 2024 that I don’t know whether to let them pass or insist that they fix

Automatic wiper: It is activated in direct sunlight. It doesn’t go at the same pace as rain.

Auto-locking the car: I have to get too far away for it to crash. Sometimes it doesn’t get blocked.

Smart long lights: They don’t take off and turn on when needed. They dazzle the other cars.

Notice yellow right rearview light: most of the time it’s OK. Others don’t get to turn on.

Do you think this will be solved by a mechanic workshop or is it a waste of time?

Thank you

Some of these are known bugs, e.g. the auto-highbeam. Others I have never heard about, like the indicator (?) fault. So in my humble opinion, yes, you should talk to your dealer about this. Especially the last item.

Because of missing reliability I don’t use those automatic stuff most of the time. This could be fixed/upgraded with OTA updates. But I wouldn’t bet on it.
For the locking issue: do you have set/tested different distances to open/lock in the app?

He means blind spot indicator in right mirror.
This is/was an issue here also.
Don’t remember if it was solved actually. Only on FL models.

The right rearview yellow warning doesn’t sometimes turn on when I overtake a car or when we’re stopped.

The problem is that the workshops don’t know. He’s going to spend an eternity in the workshop.

Of the other issues, what do you think?

Thank you

Ok, I‘ll have to revise slightly:
Last two issues: known software bugs, workshop can‘t help. First two issues: no idea.

Ok. It’s for not wasting time and the car staying in the workshop forever.

I don’t trust they can solve anything.

Thank you

the Intelligent Light assistant is atrocious, its the opposite of intelligent - I don’t care any longer - maybe the next OS version will fix it.

There’s another problem I don’t know if it’s a problem.

With the xpedal activated. While the car is stopped and in an area where there is no noise for example in a garage. I squeeze the accelerator and release. It makes like a sound. If it’s not there, the xpedal doesn’t make that sound.

Does that happen to you?

Unfortunately: no. It does not. Could you maybe try to capture it on video or something like that?

If WHAT is “not there”? I’m sorry, but maybe you should try translate.google.com, describe the problem in your native language and copy the english translation. Otherwise, your descriptions are kind of hard to understand.

Just an idea: when you have come to a complete stop and the car doesn’t move on it’s own when you let go of the brake pedals, autohold (= the parking brake) should be engaged. Otherwise, the car would slowly start to crawl forwards. So if autohold is engaged and you press the accelerator, the parking brake has to disengage, and this could make an audible noise.

Hi, Sorry. The translation isn’t very good.

Xpedal active. The car is moving very slowly. For example, in a garage. I press the accelerator and release it. It makes a „gulp“ noise.

Xpedal not active. It doesn’t make that noise.

I hope my translation is a little better.

Maybe I have this sound also. If driving slowly on a parking lot towards a street and have to stop at about 3 to 6 km/h I can hear a „clonk“ in the front right area of the car.
Don’t know what it is. Could be the brake pads that are pushed onto brake disk.
I’m not worried about that.
