主 题:XPENG X9 2026 Europe / Turing hardware architecture and future upgradeability
Dear XPENG Overseas Service Engineering Team,
I am currently evaluating the purchase of an XPENG X9 AWD Performance in Austria and I am comparing the European X9 2026 with the Chinese X9 2026 Ultra.
According to XPENG’s published specifications, the European vehicle is equipped with one XP5 Turing AI chip, while Chinese X9 variants are available with up to three Turing AI chips and 2,250 TOPS.
Could you please clarify:
1. Do the European X9 and Chinese X9 Ultra use the same basic E/E architecture and central computing platform?
2. Is the European X9 technically prepared for the additional computing hardware used by the Ultra, including wiring, power supply, cooling and VLMU?
3. Can the central computing hardware/XCCP be replaced or upgraded through an authorized XPENG service center?
4. Is an upgrade from the European single-Turing configuration to the future VLA 2.0 capable configuration technically possible?
5. Will existing European X9 vehicles with one Turing chip be able to use the European NGP/VLA 2.0 functions planned from 2027, or will additional hardware be required?
I would also appreciate access to the X9 2026 Europe repair manual, wiring diagram and parts information available through XPENG TIS.
Kind regards
Mario Fellner
